2026 Scholarships for High School Students

Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra in South Lake Tahoe is offering scholarships to seniors graduating from LTUSD High Schools (South Tahoe HS, Mt. Tallac High School HS, and Elevated Digital Academy) and George Whittel HS. Criteria for selection includes: community service, financial need, and academic achievement. Additional criteria include: extracurricular activities (athletics, leadership, and school clubs, projects, and events/performances); employment; and community involvement.

We are privileged each year to award this scholarship in honor and memory of Joy, who was a true champion for the students attending Mt. Tallac High School, as well as keeping a special place in her heart for their efforts and accomplishments.  This Scholarship is funded through Teri and Rocky Rothschild, and Torq’d Clothing.
