What Our Members Say

I am very excited to be a part of this amazing club of hard-working, caring women. I immediately felt accepted when I joined in 2017 and look forward to seeing everyone at our weekly meetings. You can’t find a group of volunteers with bigger hearts than at SITS!

Paula Peterson

What I like best about being a member of our Soroptimist club is how positive and caring everyone is of each other, as well as the diversity of our group. I am always proud of the support we are able to provide our community and global non-profits and project – it makes me feel that we can all be a part of making a positive impact.

Karen Houser

Soroptimist is a great way to stay connected to our community. We hear locals speak about what they’re doing to make Tahoe a better place and how we can help. It’s wonderful!

Meeting, working and socializing with our Soroptimist group of women gives me such an appreciation for different personalities, talents, and passions. Every week I am amazed and delighted at who comes forth and shines. I find myself thinking “I love that woman!” Set before this group a common goal and you have a powerful force at work!

Jean Bergner

I pledge allegiance to Soroptimist and to the ideals for which it stands: the sincerity of friendship, the joy of achievement, the dignity of service, the integrity of profession, the love of country, I will put forth my greatest effort to promote, uphold and defend these ideals for a larger fellowship in home, in society, in business, for country and for God.
