What Our Members Say

Nancy Muller

“I’m a Soroptimist because I believe in  strengthening and enhancing the lives of women and youth.  I love the joy I receive from knowing and working with incredible women and the friendships that are made.”

Here’s to strong women.  May we know them.  Let us be them.  May we raise them!

Andréa Solis

“Being a soroptimist has allowed me to connect with “movers and shakers” in the Lake Tahoe Community, and to experience hands-on volunteer work to help local women and youth.”

I pledge allegiance to Soroptimist and to the ideals for which it stands: the sincerity of friendship, the joy of achievement, the dignity of service, the integrity of profession, the love of country, I will put forth my greatest effort to promote, uphold and defend these ideals for a larger fellowship in home, in society, in business, for country and for God.
