Junior S is our version of a junior Soroptimist club for girls at South Tahoe Middle School. Club Leaders this year are Assistant Principal Karin Holmes and members Nancy Muller and Jackie Nelson. Weekly our club meets to achieve goals they have set out for themselves with the focus of community service to their school, their community and the world. One project just completed involved the girls working together to make cookies which they sold at a school dance. The funds raised will now be sent to the Zawadisha Fund which is a microloan organization for women in Kenya who are working to be self sufficient and better the lives of their children. We are so proud of these girls!
