large_MP900442246.JPGThe Soroptimist Violet Richardson Award is a recognition program for young women in grades 8 – 11 engaged in volunteer action within our community or schools. The award is given to young women whose activities make the community and world a better place.

This is a monetary award to eligible young women who have a passion for volunteerism which support women and/or children in some capacity. There are no restrictions on the type of activity.

You can apply to our club in two ways either as an online application or as a hard copy. The online application should be forwarded to the Awards Chair at sitahoesierra@gmail.com.  We will be happy to answer questions you may have.

 

If you or someone you know qualifies for this award, apply!

Hard copy applications are available at South Tahoe High School, El Dorado County Library, George Whittell School and the Zephyr Cove Library.
